At Sweet Escape Diabetes Center, we are committed to women age 35-100+ with pre-diabetes, and diabetes keeping this health journey positive, without complications and quality outcomes.  Our goal is to reach every female through education, prevention, and management of diabetes throughout their lifespan throughout the vast state of Alaska. 

Alaska is in the northwestern portion of the United States, boarding Canada.  It is the largest of all 50 states in land mass and is extremely rural (WorldAtlas, 2024).  Women age 35+ make up 30.5% of Alaska's population (Research, 2023).  Approximately 35% of Alaskans live in rural areas (Most Rural States 2024, n.d.).
